An operator is shown adjusting and monitoring the operation of Eatonâs IFPM 72 portable fluid-purification system, which uses vacuum evaporation to remove water, particulate contamination, and dissolved gasses from hydraulic fluid.The IFPM72 draws in contaminated fluid from the hydraulic reservoir and heats the fluid to increase filtration speed. The cleaned fluid is then drawn out through a high-efficiency particulate-removal filter and routed back to the system, where a water sensor continuously monitors fluid saturation. The process combines high water separation rates with efficient energy usage for a variety of applications.
The fully automated, mobile IFPM 72 system removes water, particulate contamination, and dissolved gases from hydraulic and lubricating-oil systems to increase reliability, life, and efficiency of systems. Features include a user-friendly touch display, automatic shutdown, and continuous measurement of fluid temperature, water saturation and filter flow-through rates.
