Is the fluid power industry headed toward more stable market conditions? New data from the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) indicates this may finally be the case.

June 2026 shipment data from the NFPA showed increases in shipments for hydraulic and pneumatic products for the first time in months, on both a month-over-month and year-over-year basis. Tariffs, high interest rates and a number of other economic factors have created challenging market conditions for the fluid power industry and its customer markets over the past few years.

But with shipments shifting into positive territory in June, it’s possible we may be headed toward a period of stability.
