In the lead-up to Automate 2026 taking place in June, I’ve been speaking with fluid power and motion control technology suppliers who will be exhibiting at this year’s show. Our top story in today’s newsletter is my interview with Jacob Paso, President of Delta Motion, who spoke not only on the trends he is seeing in the industrial automation space today but also the continued importance of hydraulic motion control in many applications.
Applications with high power density requirements, heavy loads and many others still rely on hydraulics even as they become more automated. In many cases, Paso is seeing a push toward more hybrid systems that bring together hydraulic and electric technologies to maximize efficiency, precision, and force output — something he thinks will be a key theme at this year’s Automate.
What trends are you seeing in the industrial automation market? Attending Automate 2026 and have technologies or trends you’re looking forward to seeing? I’m interested in learning what others are witnessing in the industry and hope to see at this year’s show, so feel free to email me at [email protected] and let me know your thoughts!
