As new performance requirements continue to be placed on industrial automation solutions, it is prompting the need for advancements in the fluid power and electromechanical technologies employed in automation systems.

Our top story in today’s newsletter looks at some of these technological developments. It features my recent conversation with experts from three of Bosch Rexroth’s industrial automation-related divisions, who offered their perspectives on current drivers for product designs.

Chief among them is the need for systems capable of operating faster to help customers increase their productivity. Customers are also looking for systems which are easy to implement and use, further benefiting productivity while overcoming some of the skilled labor challenges industries are facing.
