CONEXPO-CON/AGG, considered North America's largest event for the construction industry, kicks off next week on Tuesday, March 3. Construction equipment is one of the largest customer markets for the fluid power industry, making CONEXPO one of the year’s biggest events for the hydraulics and pneumatics sector as well, along with sensor, electromechanical and other technology suppliers to this market.

This year will be my sixth time attending CONEXPO and I’m just as excited as ever to see what technological developments will be exhibited, if not more so this year given how much automation, digitalization and other trends are shaping today’s machine and system designs.
