I was away from my desk again this week attending the Danfoss Distributor Meeting where I had the chance to learn about technology developments and market opportunities of importance to Danfoss Power Solutions.

While focused on the company and its products, the event still helps to provide a snapshot of the market trends shaping the fluid power industry as well as opportunity areas for future growth.

Some of those noted during the event included:

• Market conditions are slowly improving, with signals of improvement showing in different parts of the world. This trend is expected to continue into 2027 and beyond.
• Data centers are a strong growth area not only for Danfoss Power Solutions but also all three divisions within the larger Danfoss group and are expected to remain an important growth driver for the company.
• Electrification is viewed as another high-value opportunity area because of the continued interest in it from many customer sectors, particularly the off-highway equipment market.
